How to get to Lake Tahoe from Reno, Sacramento, San Francesco, Los Angeles, and San Diego.

From Reno-Tahoe International Airport to South Lake Tahoe
Take Hwy. 395 South right out of the Airport. You will have 30 miles of Highway driving to Carson City. You will go straight through Carson City. You will turn right on Hwy. 50 west and have 30 more miles of beautiful mountain driving.

From San Francisco to South Lake Tahoe
I-80 east to Sacramento then Hwy. 50 east to South Lake Tahoe.

From Sacramento to South Lake Tahoe
U.S. Hwy. 50 east

From Los Angeles to South Lake Tahoe
I-10 east, I-15 north to Devore. Continue on 1-15 north and exit onto U.S. Hwy. 395 to Victorville, continue north to Bishop, then northwest on U.S. Hwy. 395 past Mono Lake to the Nevada state border– just past Topaz, California. Continue 27 miles to Gardnerville, Nevada and take Hwy. 56 south to Centerville, Hwy. 56 west to Hwy. 206 north, Kingsbury Grade (Hwy. 207) west to Stateline.

From San Diego to South Lake Tahoe
I-5 north towards Santa Ana, Costa Mesa Freeway (Hwy. 55) north, Riverside Freeway (Hwy. 91) east, I-15 north to Devore. Continue on 1-15 north and exit onto U.S. Hwy. 395 to Victorville, continue north to Bishop, then northwest on U.S. Hwy. 395 past Mono Lake to the Nevada state border–just past Topaz, California.
